Launch of Blue Wallet Digital Platform at the Beirut Chamber of Commerce

A ceremony was held Thursday at the headquarters of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce to launch Blue Wallet, a new digital financial services platform built to meet international standards. The event took place under the patronage of former Minister and President of the Economic Bodies Mohammad Choucair, and was attended by a large number of business leaders and economic figures.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Choucair welcomed the guests to the Chamber, “the home of Lebanon’s economy”, and praised the introduction of a world-class Lebanese fintech company that connects Lebanon to the global financial network. He emphasized that Blue Wallet will expand digital access across the country, particularly for the youth, helping to position Lebanon at the forefront of financial technology and digital innovation.

Choucair highlighted that the company’s services will operate both within Lebanon and internationally, serving individuals and businesses alike. He also called for swift implementation of long-awaited banking sector reforms, stressing that sustainable economic recovery cannot be achieved without a healthy financial system.

Blue’s CEO Mr. Jamal expressed gratitude to Mr. Choucair for his continuous support of Lebanon’s economic growth and digital transformation. He described the launch as “a turning point toward a truly digital economy,” emphasizing that this transformation is no longer optional but a strategic necessity. Jamal affirmed that Blue will set a new benchmark for digital financial services in Lebanon, offering global-standard solutions tailored to the local market.
