A video circulating on social media shows a private “Jeep” vehicle displaying the Israeli flag speeding recklessly through the Kerdasa neighborhood in Giza Governorate.
The footage captures the car hitting several pedestrians while locals attempt to stop it amidst a chaotic and furious atmosphere among citizens. Egyptian security forces eventually apprehended the driver of the vehicle.
According to eyewitness accounts, locals managed to corner the driver and temporarily detain him, halting the vehicle adorned with the Israeli flag before the arrival of security personnel at the scene. Reports indicate that the detained driver is named Ahmed Adel and works as an agricultural engineer.
