A source from the General Security Administration told Syria’s “SANA” agency that, after careful monitoring and investigation, their forces in the city of Jableh managed to arrest Major General Ibrahim Huweija, the former head of General Intelligence in Syria. He is accused of hundreds of assassinations during the era of the late Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, including overseeing the assassination of Kamal Jumblatt.
