However, based on statements from Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro, the project is expected to take approximately one to two years for design and an additional four to six years for construction. To commemorate the announcement of Disneyland Abu Dhabi, Disney and its partner Miral hosted a spectacular drone show and fireworks display over Yas Island.
