Blue is exploring opportunities to develop digital financial services connecting Lebanon and Syria, following its participation as a sponsor of the Lebanese-Syrian Investment Forum 2026, held at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut on September 23.
On the sidelines of the forum, Blue representatives held meetings with Lebanese and Syrian businesspeople and investors to discuss ways to facilitate money transfers between the two countries and develop digital financial services tailored to the needs of individuals and businesses in both markets.
Discussions also covered the potential development of a unified e-wallet that would provide users in Lebanon and Syria with a connected financial experience.
The initiative remains at the exploratory stage, with any implementation subject to securing the necessary partnerships, licenses, and regulatory approvals in each country.
