UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in Dubai, with the meeting focusing on strengthening the strategic and longstanding ties between the two Gulf states and expanding cooperation in areas of shared development interest.
The meeting was attended by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The leaders reviewed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Bahrain and discussed opportunities to further enhance bilateral cooperation in support of their development priorities and the prosperity of both nations.
They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Senior UAE and Bahraini officials attended the meeting, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
