Aircraft Involved in the Crash
The aircraft involved were a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet, carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, and a Sikorsky H-60 Black Hawk helicopter, which had three soldiers on board, a Defense Department official confirmed to CBS News.
Casualties and Rescue Efforts
As of Wednesday night, at least 18 bodies had been recovered, while search and rescue operations continued in hopes of finding survivors.
