American billionaire Elon Musk stated on Monday that his platform “X” is facing an ongoing massive cyberattack. In a post on the platform, Musk explained that while “X” experiences attacks daily, this one involved significant resources and might have been carried out by either a highly organized group or even a nation.
On Monday, “X” experienced repeated outages that prevented thousands of users in the U.S. from accessing the platform. Around 26,579 reports of outages were submitted by users through an outage tracking website.
The reason for the outages remains unclear, and “X” has not provided any explanation yet.
