Al Nejmeh Launches Ambitious Plans for the Future
Al Nejmeh, one of Lebanon’s most historic football clubs, is stepping into what it calls a “Golden Era.” CEO Rami Beitar revealed bold plans to restore the club’s former glory, both locally and across Asia. Speaking confidently, Beitar assured fans that political interference will not affect the club, stating:
“Those who know me know this won’t happen at Al Nejmeh. If I can’t make decisions in the club’s best interest, I will resign.”
Fans at the Heart of Success
Beitar emphasized the importance of supporters, describing them as “50% of the team’s strength” and key partners in writing the club’s new chapter. He added:
“We want a sustainable club that continues thriving beyond any single person.”
Four Pillars of the Club’s Revival
- State-of-the-Art Stadium – The team’s home at Al Manara stadium will receive top-tier upgrades, including a new pitch material to reduce injuries, a first in Lebanon.
- Elite Football Academy – The “Golden Academy” will open three months after the stadium renovation, offering advanced facilities, top coaches, and even AI technology to enhance player development.
- Expanded Sports Programs – Al Nejmeh plans to launch women’s football, beach soccer, futsal, and even esports.
- Financial Sustainability – The club aims to secure long-term financial stability, with strong support from local and international fans.
Star Coach and Key Signings
Al Nejmeh introduced Radhy Jaaidi, former captain of Tunisia’s national team and 2004 African champion, as the new head coach. Jaaidi brings eight years of experience, including coaching Southampton B and working with top coaches like Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman.
The club also announced ten new signings: goalkeeper Mustafa Matar, George Maliki, Hassan Shaaito, Hussein Al Zein, Khalil Khamis, Rony Michael, Ali Al Fadl, Ali Qassas, Hassan Korani, along with the contract renewals of team captain Qassem Al Zein and star Hassan Korani.
