
President Joseph Aoun departed Beirut on Friday morning, accompanied by Foreign Minister youssef rajji, for a swift working visit to Paris. During his stay, he will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace for discussions on key issues concerning both countries and explore ways in which France can assist Lebanon in restoring its security, economic, and financial stability.
Macron will host a luncheon in Aoun’s honor, followed by a four-way meeting between the leaders of France, Lebanon, and Cyprus, along with the Greek Prime Minister. Syrian President will join via video conference to discuss the rapidly evolving regional developments, particularly in terms of security, according to a statement from the Lebanese presidency.
